Why we’re building RootSpend
Companies now pay for AI in many places at once: seats for ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot, API bills that change every day, and cloud and data bills on top. The invoices say how much. They don’t say who spent it, or whether it was worth it.
RootSpend puts it all in one place, split by team and project. It reads your tools with read only access and never changes anything in them.
We build it from Tunis, in English, French and Arabic, for teams in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, and anywhere else.

I’m a full-stack developer in Tunis with more than four years of experience at multinational companies. I’ve led large product revamps from start to finish, from UX and design to architecture and implementation, and built AI features used across several products. I build RootSpend end to end, from the app to its AI analyst.

Read only, always
RootSpend reads costs and usage. It can’t create, change or delete anything in your tools.
Real numbers first
When a vendor reports the real charge, we use it. We only estimate when there’s no other way, and we say so.
We say what we can’t do
Every connector page lists its limits. If RootSpend can’t do something yet, we tell you before you sign up.
